Upon graduating from UC Davis with a degree in Computer Science in 2005, I found myself working as a professional software developer in the Silicon Valley. Although my professional focus has tended to be in payments processing, performance, and security, my interests outside of work are much more varied.
I enjoy taking a DIY approach to solving problems around the house, whether that be renovating a bathroom or building an intelligent home alarm system. My interest in woodworking was a natural progression as we found ourselves unhappy with the quality of products commercially available at the price point we could afford. I am currently in the process of renovating a mid-century style fixer-upper and will be documenting our progress through a series of videos on YouTube.
This website offers a glipse into my hobby work both in woodworking and electronics/software projects, as well as a gallery of some photographs I have taken on my various trips and adventures.
